upon arrival to native outpost discover trail named "Eagle TRL." apparentely home to great bald eagles of which we are not afraid but in awe. natives questioned singlespeeding on trail and i suspect were rather amused by idea. great chief of natives asked "Do you have hipwaders," to which we replied, "No." Chief seemed surprised but continued on, "do you have pistol?" Of course we had no pistol so chief loaned us .357 magnum for adventure. chief informed us pistol would shoot "a 6-inch piece of paper from 80 yards away." most impressive. informed grizzly bear in this region were most disagreeable, likely would kill us if we had no pistol so we took firearm and prayed to GOD. here DV was unable to negotiate ferocious ice chunks so must walk the fucking pussy.
