pilot meriweather performed brilliantly throughout event and was undissuaded by bitter cold. in end, dv and meriweather tied for first because of dv's naked effort. all in all a fine day for the pilot ranks. natives most impressed with pilots - invited us back in future, which we should very much like to accept.
