Intergalactic Pilot's Kokopelli Trail Expedition / 01StartThe official start of the 140-mile Kokopelli Trail, Loma Boat Ramp on the banks of the Colorado River. It was a chilly and wet morning, although it may not look like it. Nothing like waking up and seeing a steady rain at the start of a long ride. The wind was whipping too, giving us a very stiff headwind. We actually debated that morning driving to Moab and doing the trail West to East with a tailwind, but in the end decided to stick with the original plan.
