Intergalactic Pilot's Kokopelli Trail Expedition / 02RainDepart

Here's Kevin and Dan on a very early stretch of the trail on I think Mary's Loop. We've got our rain flaps over the packs. Riding with a 35 pound pack is very tough - all of the sudden I was transformed from a 140 rider to almost 180 pounds. We've also got racks on our bikes to carry more stuff. Our gear consists of the basics: Non-heatable food for three days, a change of clothes so we can get out of the chamois at night, bivvy sacks, light sleeping bags and thermarest. We've got headlamps, slipper socks (luxury!) and the carrying capacity for one days worth of water. We've have water filters too. Our food mostly consisted of Peanut Butter sandwiches, granola, gorp, cheese and jerky.
