Intergalactic Pilot's Kokopelli Trail Expedition / 26HideoutCampWe camped the second night at something called Hideout Canyon. This is where Butch Cassidy used to hide from authorities after robbing trains. We covered about 45 miles on this day. This was a pretty restless night, as tomorrow loomed as a huge day with about 10,000 feet of climbing into snowy mountains. Plus, we were running out of water, and were unsure where the next supply would be. As luck would have it, there was stream about 200 yards from this spot that we used to fill up in the morning. |
