Storm of the Century Strikes Eldora ColoradoBetween Monday night March 17 and Wednesday evening March 19 a snowstorm dumped 71 inches of snow on the little town of Eldora, Colorado, which is my hometown. Eldora is a little mining town 21 miles west of Boulder and sits at 8,700 feet above sea level. Old timers told me that this was the most snow they have ever seen in a community known for harsh winters. Here's a few photos. |
