The rider is the populus and the Single is the government.  The facts have
been mistated and I must reconcile.  The geared menaces (heretofore
referred to as the Machine) allow for the weak, poor, and underpriveledged
to flourish with such social programs as welfare, sliding scale taxes and
granny gear.  The rider is allowed to reach the summit fully intact- legs,
lungs, lower back and knees.  Yes, it takes longer, but they arrive
together, with a 401K and full dental.  Very Democratic.
 

The Single, however, dispenses with all the unnecessary bureaucracies such
as shifters, derailers [sic], cable routers, cogs, lengthy chains and
Special Olympics funding of the Machine.  The Single believes that the weak
are weak for a reason, and gives no respite to those troubled
embarrassments of society (the afore-mentioned weaklink body parts).  Very
Republican.  The Single has little compassion for its blemishes, though
this year the ticket touts a 'compassionate conservatism'.  Realize that it
is a ploy.  Though they pretend they are putting a 30-26 on the Single,
expect another four years of 34-16 and lower back pain that not even Glen
Livet on the rocks and a fine Cuban can cure.
 

So if are Singlican, and think you are anything but a Republican, maybe you
should rethink where all those wasted tax dollars are going.  After all, an
across the board tax cut means Ti valve nipples for the Single.  Who cares
if a few school roofs are leaking?  I've certainly rethought my scene.  Go
Bush!
