It's a dark time for the Intergalactic Single Speed Pilots. In an era of corporate favoritism, dual-crown full squish bikes and an invading gear-topia enemy force that emphasizes buy, buy, buy, sell your soul to pay for your next 24 hour Granny's Rear entry fee, the Intergalactic Pilots have gone into deep seclusion, hiding in the woods, Osama-style. Indeed, this disappearing act has convinced many to proclaim the Intergalactic movement dead. But this is not the case. Oh no! The Intergalactic Pilots have descended into hiding to wait until the climate, the star alignment is in synch for a massive invasion on the geared empire where the system will be shaken and justice returned to the universe. That time is nearing my friends. The arrival of the Full Cold Moon, on the night of December 15, 2005 signals that return. The 2005 Intergalactic Single Speed Championships invasion will take place on this frigid, dark Thursday night under full stealth mode. Forget the World Singlespeed Championships, the UCI, the Olympics and other such crap! Do they have moons of Ionic? Do they have the Black Hole of Slaughterhouse Gulch, the Quasar of Meriweather¹s butt crack? No they don¹t, but we do and we shall visit each one and pound a frozen cold one in their honor. This event is deeper, danker, darker, more uncut and definitely, absolutely colder than and other Intergalactic Single Speed Championship. This event is so stealth, we don¹t even know where it¹s going to be held yet, other than somewhere in the Boulder County Galaxy.
